My journey into osteopathy was guided by a passion for movement and fitness. From a young age, I saw the positive impact that osteopathy can have on people, which inspired me to pursue this practice. My vision for wellness is centred around helping patients feel their best and living life to the fullest. I firmly believe that osteopathy is not only about hands-on treatment but also about providing patients with the knowledge to take control of their own health.

In my work, I hold values of respect, empathy, compassion, support, and professionalism. These values shape the way I care for my patients, creating a nurturing and understanding environment. To unwind and rejuvenate, I love long walks, music, travelling, exercising, and cherishing moments spent with friends, family, and my Golden Retriever. This commitment to self-care mirrors the principles I instill in my patients.

In my osteopathic practice, I employ a diverse range of treatment styles. These include soft tissue massage, articulation, dry needling, spinal manipulation, mobilisation techniques, exercise prescription, and providing essential education and lifestyle advice. This comprehensive approach allows me to address the unique needs of each patient.

One aspect I wish was better understood about my profession is that osteopathy is not merely about symptom relief. It involves identifying the root cause of health issues and collaboratively working with patients through education and lifestyle changes to achieve their health goals. It's a proactive approach to wellness that empowers individuals to take charge of their own health and well-being.

Dr. Lily Pryn is currently available for appointments on Monday afternoons, Tuesday afternoons, Friday mornings, and Saturday mornings.
